Pretty in Pink

I know it's not technically spring yet, but it certainly feels like it! To me pink = spring, like the deep rose color of this tunic from Loft. Especially when it's paired with blush pink and girly bow shoes. I've been wearing a lot of pattern lately, so I decided to dress simply with solid colors and a few accessories to break things up. I'm sure my decision process was heavily influenced by being up all night with the kiddo (who wasn't sick, and wanted to be awake and party), so my brain couldn't handle pattern-mixing. The best I could do was make sure I somewhat matched and call it a day. Hopefully I didn't do too badly for being sleep-deprived. :)

Now that I'm fully rested and functioning, I do think this top would look so cute with a patterned cardigan and jeans...maybe something like this pretty tapestry patterned cardigan from Lands' End or this girly floral print cardigan from Macy's. Oh to have a magic closet and limitless clothing budget!

Side note: Don't forget, today's the last day to enter the $50 giveaway to PinkBlush. The giveaway closes at midnight, good luck! Update: Giveaway closed!

  1. I love that top! Such an easy piece to wear for the warmer months because of the light fabric. I can't help but gush about the color too.

    1. I really like that it's a different color than a lot of the clothes that are currently available, and the little girl in me will always be a sucker for pink. :)
